The UK is a dream study destination for students from all over the world. From the endless opportunities to study, work and live in the UK to the high standard of living, the country offers a long list of benefits that make it one of the most sought-after study destinations in the world.

Over 23% of all students in the UK are international students. And studies show that this number is growing exponentially by almost 10% every year. Within the European Union, Italy, France and Germany are the three largest contributors to the UK’s international population, while China, followed by India, tops the list of non-EU countries. These statistics clearly demonstrate the popularity and reputation of UK universities when it comes to studying abroad for international students.

The country is home to over 400 top universities, many of which feature prominently in the QS World University Rankings, the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and many other leading websites. Among the university’s main research institutions are those specialising in engineering, law, economics and business.

There are many reasons why the UK ranks so highly in the popularity index. The fact that students can complete their programmes in a shorter time makes the whole thing attractive as students can complete their courses faster and pay less. Add to this the benefits of a flexible course structure and a very practical approach to learning, which appeals to students who want to gain new skills, real-world experience and overall development.

It is important to note that students who choose a full-time program can work up to 20 hours per week during the semester and full-time during spring break. This gives them the opportunity to get acquainted with the job market and learn how to interact and make connections for their future careers.
